ก้าวสำคัญสู่ความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอน
การนำ Carbon Management Platform ที่พัฒนาโดยบีไอจีมาใช้ ถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญของ TVO ในการบรรลุเป้าหมายด้านความยั่งยืน ซึ่งช่วยให้สามารถติดตามและบริหารจัดการปริมาณการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกได้อย่างแม่นยำยิ่งขึ้น พร้อมทั้งช่วยลดเวลาในการจัดเก็บและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ลดความผิดพลาดในการคำนวณ ทั้งนี้ TVO เป็นผู้ใช้งาน Carbon Management Platform รายแรกที่ผ่านการทวนสอบและได้รับการรับรองคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์จาก อบก. อีกทั้งข้อมูลทั้งหมดยังได้รับการจัดเก็บอย่างเป็นระบบและสามารถเรียกใช้ได้แบบเรียลไทม์ นำไปสู่การบริหารจัดการการใช้พลังงานให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพ ซึ่งทาง TVO มีส่วนร่วมในการให้ความเห็นเพื่อพัฒนา Platform ให้ตอบโจทย์การใช้งานได้ดียิ่งขึ้น ทำให้ TVO สามารถวางแผนกลยุทธ์เพื่อลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกจากการดำเนินงานให้สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้ได้ ทั้งการลดการปล่อยการเรือนกระจกร้อยละ 20 ภายในปี 2035 การมุ่งสู่ความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอนในปี 2045 และการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ในปี 2060 ตามลำดับ

have jointly announced a successful collaboration in implementing a Carbon
Management Platform. This platform is designed to calculate TVO's greenhouse
gas emissions and has been utilized for the verification and certification of
the Carbon Footprint for Organizations (CFO) by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas
Management Organization (Public Organization), or TGO. TVO is proud to be the first company to receive the CFO
from the TGO through the use of this platform. By

significantly reduce its energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions,

A Significant Step Towards Carbon Neutrality
The adoption of BIG's Carbon Management
Platform marks a crucial step in TVO's sustainability journey. This platform
provides accurate monitoring and management of greenhouse gas emissions,
significantly reducing the time and errors associated with data collection and
analysis. Moreover, TVO is the first organization in Thailand to have
successfully utilized the Carbon Management Platform and subsequently achieved
verification and certification of its Carbon Footprint Organization (CFO) by
the Thai Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO). All data is
systematically stored and can be accessed in real-time, enabling efficient
energy management. TVO worked closely with BIG during the development of the
platform, providing valuable feedback and insights to ensure it met the
specific standards and requirements for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions management. This collaborative
effort between TVO and BIG has ensured that the platform not only complies with
industry standards but is also tailored to TVO’s operational needs. As a result
of this strong partnership, TVO became the first customer to pass the audit and
receive carbon footprint certification from the TGO.
With
this platform, TVO is now strategically positioned to plan and reduce its
greenhouse gas emissions, aiming for a 20% reduction by 2035, carbon neutrality
by 2045, and net-zero emissions by 2060.
